The Virtual Model Shop, Inc. was Incorporated on March 5, 1999,
with the goal of reducing the effort needed to create and use
the high fidelity computer models that are needed on a day to
day basis for the 'average' CAE engineer.
If you are looking for simple model tips or interesting papers,
look in the services section. If you are interested in our Polyline-Polyline
contact package, or other packages, look in the products section.
We are targeting add-on functionality to the ADAMS* software
for dynamic modeling, (we are NOT currently associated in any
way with Mechanical Dynamics, Inc.) and are designing these packages
to allow the engineer to add sophisticated surface contact modeling
defined based on the geometry of the contacts.
We intend to continue marketing new packages that are aimed not
only at adding to the General capabilities of a computer code,
but also packages that take out much of the drudgery of day to
day use. To stay involved with the way engineers are using CAE
tools; we also offer consulting to customize your modeling environment
to enable your process to be easily implemented. VMSI engineers
have 15+ years of ADAMS experience.
